Swing Bed Program

Our Swing Bed Program is a unique service not found in other hospitals in our area. It allows the hospital to convert a hospital bed to a long-term care bed. This makes it possible for a patient who is not quite ready to go home or to a long-term care facility to transfer to a swing bed from which they will receive full nursing care for up to an additional 12 weeks.

Patients can transfer from any hospital to the swing bed program.
